June 2012
The drive to Tattershall Castle, Lincolnshire was rather rainy and the forecast was for more rain. This beautiful castle and quaint gift shop is run by the National Trust.
A 1940's event was being held with stalls selling vintage clothing, Susan Guy Photography, a craft area for kids for make jubilee windmills and flags and a live band.

Special guest appearance of the man himself? Sir Winston Churchall

The photobooth was erected in a lovely alcove with stunning stained glass window.

The rain continued most of the morning with a slight lull over lunch. It stopped just enough for a few visitors to do a spot of dancing and singing in the rain with The Big Swing Band providing some fantastic music.

Lots of fun was had as clients to the photobooth dressed up in hats, feather boas and army jackets borrowed from a lovely couple on a nearby stall. Moustaches, lips on sticks, a pipe and a vintage frame were great accessories.

Heavy rain was a feature of the afternoon and by the time people were going home the castle had a new little moat of rainwater.
